I will send out a couples questionnaire, this is a fun ‘date night’ activity that will help me to get to know you and your story even better.
Once I’ve got a good understanding of you as a couple and your wishes, I can start writing your ceremony script. We will work together to ensure that it’s perfect for you both.
Time to celebrate! It will be my pleasure to deliver your ceremony on the day and help to coordinate with your bridal party and suppliers.
Unity rituals are a special way to add an extra layer of meaning to your wedding ceremony; handfasting symbolises the joining of two lives, the colours chosen reflect the values the couple hold dear and you literally tie the knot in the ceremony. I will provide the ribbons and a keepsake box containing your tied knot.
Whatever it is you wish to include, be it candles, sand ceremonies, cake and ale rituals, children, special guests or pets, we can weave it into your unique ceremony. Your ceremony will be bespoke and unique to you.
The registering of your marriage has to be completed at a registry office (the same as registering a birth) and as with all council-led ceremonies the script refers to legalities and is not personalised. You can simply book a 2+2 appointment and sign the certificate. You will then be ready to celebrate in style and have a beautiful and memorable day led by a celebrant who knows you and your story, unique you.
Couples may choose to take vow renewals for many reasons. It is a beautiful way to remember your promises to one another, celebrate special anniversaries or reflect on the journey you have made and make new promises to one another.
Or maybe just a good opportunity to celebrate!

We can weave in unity ceremonies using candles, handfast ribbons, colourful paints, tree planting and many more.
During this demanding and emotional time, Bright Star Ceremonies can lead you through developing an order of service. I can suggest readings, poems, prayers and music. I can write a eulogy that reflects the love, feelings and memories of your loved one as well as their values and beliefs.
